Mary Naydan


Mary is a second-year graduate student in English. Her research focuses on twentieth-century literature, poetry, and popular modernism. She has written about her all-time favorite set of novels, The Lord of the Rings, and has interests in digital humanities, feminism, and pedagogy. Mary received her undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and studied abroad for a semester in England. Before coming to Princeton, she taught elementary and high school English in her hometown of Philadelphia. In her spare time, Mary enjoys doing yoga, competing in trivia nights, listening to alternative rock music, and working on arts and crafts projects.
