This summer, Prof. Cadava met with the Executive Vice President, University Architect, and the Director of the University Art Museum to discuss the Wilcox Dining Hall. After the removal of the photographic mural last year, the university agreed that the space might be re-conceptualized as a space where art would more fully engage with the history of the college and the wide-ranging experiences and identities of our students. In the coming months, Prof. Cadava will work with the Art Museum to identify artists of interest who might be commissioned to develop a site-specific work. College students interested in contributing to this process should be in touch with Prof. Cadava directly: he welcomes your input!
